t’s an exciting time for women’s basketball. But like all social institutions, the institution of sport is a place where inequities can be perpetuated, particularly for women athletes. In this talk, Dr. Michelle Manno will discuss how race, gender, and sexuality shape the everyday experiences of women athletes, particularly those who are Black, queer, and express gender non-normatively.
