Newcomb Institute is seeking proposals for funding from the Dorothy Beckemeyer Skau Art and Music Fund. This fund supports programs in art and music, with a strong preference for projects that involve and engage undergraduate students and that connect with the Newcomb Institute’s mission of advancing gender equity.
Who May Apply: Faculty and staff in the art and music departments and the Newcomb Art Museum or other Tulane faculty who have a compelling art or music-based project.
Grant Awards: The grant program will make awards of up to $10,000 per project. We may choose to fund one large project or several small projects.
Application Materials:
Applications for funding are considered in the spring grant cycle, with a due date of May March 15, 2025.
