Description:
Newcomb Institute and the Newcomb Alumnae Association invite you to attend a special panel event in honor of Black History Month. Caroline Kennedy, Mary Shaffer, and Connie Nelson -- members of the Newcomb Class of 1974 and some of the first women of color to attend the college -- will participate in a panel discussion about their time at Newcomb, reflecting on their experiences as students of color during a transformative time. The event will also be live-streamed on Zoom so alumnae can participate and submit questions from afar. Moderated by Lauren Wethers (SLA '15, '16). Students should register on WaveSync.
