Allyson Mackay

Allyson is a deeply curious and creative information scientist with over 15 years of experience and a diverse background in sociology, public health, product innovation, technology services & software development, agile coaching, and design thinking. She thrives in a fast-paced environment that couples experimentation with collaboration.

Robyn Mazur

After graduating from Newcomb, Robyn received her J.D. and became a non-profit executive focused on gender and family justice issues. Currently, Robyn is the Director of Gender and Family Justice Initiatives at the Center for Court Innovation in New York City. She specializes in strategic program planning and implementation and development of complex, large-scale programs such as the national domestic violence homicide prevention resource center. Robyn also is an expert speaker providing training across the U.S.

Tina Nguyen

Tina Nguyen (she/her) is a Vietnamese-American New Orleans native. She graduated magna cum laude from Tulane University with a B.A. in Gender and Sexuality Studies in 2018. She is currently a medical student at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans and aspires to be an obstetrician and gynecologist. Tina is passionate about providing comprehensive and competent reproductive healthcare and understanding and addressing health disparities that might prevent patients from accessing that care.

Becky Gipson

Becky Gipson is the graphic designer and web specialist for Newcomb Institute. She manages all programs and activities related to the Newcomb Institute's visual brand and web presence. Becky received her post-baccalaureate in Digital Design, specializing in Interactive Design, from Tulane University and has two Bachelors of Fine Arts from the Savannah College of Art and Design.

Lauren Gaines

Lauren Gaines is the Media and Communications Specialist for Newcomb Institute. She manages all programs and activities related to communications and actively promotes Newcomb Institute within and beyond the higher education community. Lauren received her B.A.

Laura Kreller

Laura Kreller is the Senior Program Coordinator to the Executive Director for the Newcomb Institute. She holds a BA in Health and Wellness and is currently pursuing her masters in Health and Wellness Management from the School of Professional Advancement (SOPA) at Tulane. She is passionate about wellness education and improving mental and medical healthcare access to underserved and culturally diverse communities. She is also a proud advocate for LGBT+ and reproductive rights.

Lisa Wade

Lisa Wade is an Associate Professor at Tulane University with appointments in Sociology, the Gender and Sexuality Studies Program, and the Newcomb Institute. Her research agenda has involved four main areas: hookup culture on college campuses, feminist theories of sexuality, the relationship between biology and society, and U.S. discourse about female genital cutting in Africa. Before receiving her M.S. and Ph.D. in Sociology at the University of Wisconsin at Madison, Lisa earned an interdisciplinary M.A. in Human Sexuality from NYU and a B.A.
