Celebrate Newcomb Student Showcase and Open House

Join Newcomb Institute faculty, staff, and students for an update on the work of the Institute. Preview our publications, tour the Newcomb Archives, and hear from students about new research and professional training initiatives. Refreshments provided.
Newcomb Alumnae Association Annual Meeting

All Newcomb alums are invited to attend the Newcomb Alumnae Association’s annual meeting. Attendees will vote on the president-elect, receive updates on the NAA board's work in the past year, and reconnect with fellow alumnae over a light breakfast. This is a hybrid event – you can register to attend in person or via Zoom.

Threads of Tradition: Celebrating 20 Years of Newcomb Institute

Hear from a Newcomb Art Museum curator about the rich history of embroidery among Newcomb women, discover how the Newcomb Alumnae Association is honoring this legacy, and connect with fellow alumnae who share a love of history, handwork, and Newcomb traditions. Whether you're an experienced crafter or simply a history enthusiast, this program is for you.
Newcomb Alumnae Association Awards Ceremony and Reception

Join the Newcomb Alumnae Association for a special presentation recognizing the 2026 award recipients, followed by a reception celebrating achievement, connection, and the enduring spirit of Newcomb.
Newcomb Alumnae Association Tailgate

All Newcomb alums and their families are invited to Tailgate Village before the Tulane Green Wave takes on Florida Atlantic in the Homecoming game. Join us at the Newcomb Alumnae Association tent for refreshments, exclusive swag, and fun.
With the exception of Saturday’s tailgate, all events are held at Newcomb Institue, which is located on the third floor of the Malkin Sacks Commons at 43 Newcomb Place. Elevators to the third floor can be accessed from the Freret Street side of the building.
