I am honored to lead this exceptional academic institute dedicated to advancing opportunity and equity through research, training, and leadership development, with a focus on the diverse experiences and contributions of women and girls.
At the heart of our mission is a commitment to data-driven, community-informed work that spans disciplines, sectors, and geographies—preparing undergraduate students at Tulane University to become the next generation of scholars, leaders, and professionals equipped to address real-world challenges and strengthen communities.
As Executive Director, I bring to this role a deep commitment to building trusted, cross-disciplinary partnerships that harness research and collaboration to improve outcomes in gender equity, health, and development. My work sits at the intersection of strategy, evidence, and impact—connecting experts, institutions, and communities to generate knowledge that is both academically rigorous and practically useful.
At Newcomb, we are especially focused on cultivating an environment that is inclusive, high-performing, and intellectually vibrant. We invest in student learning and leadership as central to our mission—offering meaningful opportunities for undergraduates to engage in research, develop critical skills, and contribute to initiatives that make a difference.
