Biography
Aaliyah Randall is the Technology and Facilities Coordinator of Newcomb Institute. She provides workspace support for faculty and staff and manages all of Newcomb Institute’s technology. Aaliyah received her B.S. in Neuroscience with a minor in Gender and Sexuality Studies from Tulane University. Before starting this role, Aaliyah worked for Newcomb as an Information Technology and Digital Research Intern.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee, maintain, and troubleshoot audio-visual equipment for all meeting and public spaces and workstations.
- Provides leadership for the strategic and operational management of technology and technology-related initiatives at the Newcomb Institute.
- Maintain and track inventories and preventative maintenance for facility furniture, fixtures, and equipment.
- Hire, train, and manage student workers and student interns related to technology support and facilities maintenance.
