Newcomb Institute's Summer Internship Grants are available for students who are pursuing unpaid or minimally paid internships in Summer 2024 that have a significant gender equity focus. Students must address how their internship contributes to Newcomb Institute’s mission of advancing gender equity. Students may request funding to assist with summer living expenses, internship travel, or other associated expenses. Students with a full-time internship (40 hours a week for six weeks) may request up to $3,600. Students with a part-time internship (20 hours a week for six weeks) may request up to $1,800.
Who Can Apply: Full-time undergraduate Tulane University students are eligible to apply for funding from Newcomb Institute. Students graduating in May 2024 may not apply for funding for internships completed after they have graduated.
Summer internship funding applications are due by 5pm on April 15, 2024, or May 15, 2024. Decisions for the first round of applications will be shared by early May. Apply here!
