The African-American Women's Society (AAWS) is an organization that works to increase awareness of important issues that affect African American women on Tulane’s campus. The organization nurtures development and encourages involvement. The women of AAWS pride themselves on leadership, encourage initiative, promote sisterhood, and provide a home for women of color with similar interests.
