Digital Research Lab and Internship Program
Newcomb College Institute provides opportunities to help students gain a tangible technology skill-set and resources for faculty-driven digital humanities projects. Students work in a Mac-oriented digital media lab with software and resources for projects incorporating video and audio production, web design, and graphic design elements and a lending library. All Tulane students and faculty are welcome to use the lab and lending library resources.
Through these Technology Initiatives, the Newcomb College Institute provides resources for faculty working on digital research that contributes original research to their field, offers opportunities for students to obtain unique technology skill-sets to supplement their majors and minors, sustains community spaces and digital resources that supports the increase of Women Technologists and gender-related research topics.
