Newcomb College Institute's Under the Oaks ceremony honored Newcomb Scholars, award recipients, newly appointed Fellows, the Newcomb College Class of 1959 and graduating women. This year's ceremony was held May 15, 2009 in Dixon Hall on the Newcomb College campus at Tulane University. Photographer Cheryl Gerber was there to capture the event.
