On February 25, Michelle Tea read an excerpt from the novel she is working on (currently untitled) at the Lavin Bernick Center at Tulane University, to a packed crowd.  Her upcoming book, which follows the life of a 13 year-old girl,  is set in the future and is loosely based on David Bowie's Ziggy Stardust album.
