Gulu Saiyed and Rachel Wenzel interviewed Laurie Daniels, a Paralympic Sitting Volleyball. Click Here to Listen.
Daniels, who had been in New Orleans as a Americorps volunteer, sat down to talk about her time with the Paralympic Sitting Volleyball team. She had been with the team from June 2003 until March 2007. In that time she attended the 2004 Athens Paralympics and spent some time as team Captain. The Paralympics are held in the same venue as the Olympics three weeks later.
