Sophielab @NCCROW #Tulane works through a feminist lens to evaluate, introduce, and integrate new media literacies, skills, pedagogies, research methodologies, and publication strategies into gender and sexuality studies praxis on campus and in the New Orleans community.
Sophielab is the feminist participatory media collaboratory at Newcomb College Center for Research on Women.
Sophielab is a physical space on the second floor of Caroline Richardson Hall. Sophielab is also a living web of people, consciousness, learning, projects, and activity.
Sophielab reflects on this work in useful ways that contribute to understanding and development of university-based participatory media practice.
