Williams is the President and Director of the Southern Food and Beverage Museum, as well as a lawyer who writes about the legal aspects of food. She is currently working on a book about obesity lawsuits and other food-related litigation in the U.S. According to its mission, the museum is a "nonprofit living history organization dedicated to the discovery,
understanding and celebration of the food, drink and the related
culture of the South."
