Studies Research Mapping Project.

Since Katrina, the connections among
our local communities of scholars and researchers have been weakened by
many factors. With this project, NCCROW intends to help rebuild a
network of individuals conducting research on women, gender and
sexuality, one that goes beyond department or institution to build on
our common interests.
Your answers will be compiled into a document that will be distributed all participants and available to the public on the Newcomb College Center for Research on Women website.
Contributing your contact information and
current research interests will help build a living document useful to
researchers, students, activists, and the community at large, fostering
interdisciplinary engagement and strengthening community connections.

You may also assist the project by forwarding this call for
participation to other researchers located or conducting research in the New Orleans area. We would
like to cast as wide a net as possible, and warmly welcome responses
from individuals who are currently or have been part of the diaspora of
university faculty after Katrina. In addition, we welcome submissions
from unaffiliated scholars, community groups, and graduate students
that are conducting research in these areas.
Thank you for being
a part of this project. After we have compiled all of the submitted
information, we will send you a link to the complete document.
If you have questions or inquiries about the project, please contact us at nccrow@tulane.edu or 504 865 5238.
