The Newcomb Alumnae Association

  • is a vigorous, supportive advocate for the educational needs of undergraduate women at Tulane University.
  • works closely with the Newcomb College Institute to ensure that undergraduate women have the same opportunities for academic enrichment, scholarship, and leadership development that Newcomb College offered past generations of women.
  • supports time-honored and new Newcomb programs administered through the Institute.
  • works to preserve the legacy of Newcomb College and provide services to its 23,000 alumnae who wish to maintain ties to their classmates and their college experience.
  • includes all women who attended Newcomb College or the Newcomb-Tulane Undergraduate College and successfully completed one semester of study.


The Newcomb Alumnae Office

  • is located in 112 Newcomb Hall.
  • office hours are M-F 9 am. to 5 p.m.
  • serves as the campus link to Newcomb alumnae.
  •  plans class reunions, local and regional gatherings for Newcomb alumnae.
  • coordinates the print and online versions of Under the Oaks, now a publication supported by the Newcomb College Institute, with special emphasis on matters of interest to Newcomb alumnae.
  • has a shared reporting structure to the Newcomb College Institute and Tulane's Office of Alumni Affairs.
